If there's one thing Vegas is not about, it's minimalism. The utter effluence of it all, while maybe slightly off-putting in principle, is crazy fantastic in reality. But in all of that grandeur, there are some beautiful, weird, and wonderful sights to see. Here are a few more shots from our tours of hotels. You could spend a full day just checking out the lobbies alone of all the hotels in Vegas. Here are a few favourite shots:
The Luxor, already a giant pyramid, is even more awesome with this whole 'Beaming to the Mothership' vibe going on. Very cool. This by the way, was our neighbour :)
Now, if you weren't impressed by the Bellagio's world famous water fountain show, or their lobby ceiling decorated with gigantic glass flowers from my last post, well then I guess you probably won't much care about this technicolor ferris wheel they had inside, either.
Or maybe flowers just aren't your favourite thing to see on a hotel ceiling. How about a colourful array of variously-sized umbrellas suspended above a waterfall? This was inside the Venetian.
Also, inside the Venetian. Hey, it's Venice! There was also really great shopping in the Venetian. And by that I mean, I couldn't afford anything in sight, but it was all oh-so-pretty to look at ;)
And if you're already in Italy, you may as well just pop over to Paris:)
The hotels are simply AMAZING to see. I don't care how many "Vegas on the Cheap" guides say to stay off the Strip and save some money, don't do it! Do anything BUT stay off the Strip. Honestly, the hotels ARE the sights in Vegas, so do yourself a favour, and soak one up really well! I'll soon be blogging about our hotel, which was phenomenal.

I loved the Gondollas (hmm sp?) in Venice! I wish I would've gotten a ride :) And the 'real' skies inside of some of the hotels are pretty cool. It's such an amazing place, Vegas :)
